The Centennial 100 Champions Lions Club was very pleased to welcome their newest member, Lion Charles Nyambe, into their club last night. Lion Charles is the President and Managing Director of Special Olympics Africa.

Lion Charles is sponsored by Lion David Evangelista, CEO of Special Olympics Europe Eurasia (Can you spot a theme here?), and brings a wealth of experience to our Lions club. He has been passionate about sport all his life, but gave up playing when he realised that coaching, especially disadvantaged people, was his true calling. He has been instrumental in spreading the great work of the Special Olympic movement across the whole of Africa.

With Charles joining the Centennial 100 Champions Lions Club we now have 3 Special Olympic CEOs, 4 board members (past/present), a number of SO supporters and 5 Special Olympic Athletes as members of the club.

The club would also like to thank MD105 Council Chairman Alisatir Joel, District 105CE Governor Chris Hibbert and Zone Chairman Robyn Banks for joining us on the Zoom call.
